Chickpea Flatbread

Chickpea flour is one of the most nutrient packed gluten-free flours available. 

1 cup of chickpea flour contains about 200 caloires 20 grams protein, 10 grams fiber. Great snack after a workout!

Chickpea flour is high in manganese,folate,and copper. So its an amazing bread /cracker subsutite  I make it all the time my husband loves BREAD so this is his bread!!

You can add really any herbs of spices you like. I added rosemary and thyme because they do really well with mushrooms.

Ingredients

1 cup chickpea flour 

1 cup filtered water 

1 tablespoon good olive oil 

pinch sea salt 

1 tablespoon rosemary and thyme chopped 

Directions

In a medium size bowl add all ingredients whisk untill all is combined let rest for 10-20 minute 

(Meanwhile if you making a topping now is a good time to make it.)

In an all stainless steel pan on medium heat add 1 tablespoon olive oil make sure you coat whole bottom of pan so mixture wont stick

Pour mixtues in like your pouring a crepe smooth out top with spatula cook until golden brown  on the bottom and it starts bubbling on top. Take off stove and place under broiler until top is golen brown. Let it cool slightly than remove from pan and place on plate. You can eat it alone or top it with Mushroom Ragu, Meat Ragu, Tomato and Basil I can on and on......
