Grilled Caesar salad


Prep Notes

Love this dressing ..recipe makes a lot so keep in fridge and you can drizzle over chicken, fish, veggie or use it as a dip. 

Cooking Time

5-7 minutes

Ingredients

Grilled Caesar Salad

mini romaine lettuces I use trader joes 

olive oil spray 

 1-2 tablespoons Parmesan grated 

Dressing

3/4 cup tahini

3/4 cup water

1/4 cup nutritional yeast 

juice  1 lemon 

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

3 teaspoons miso yellow or white 

real salt pepper to taste 

toasted pinoli nuts for garnish

Directions

Heat up outdoor or indoor grill pan 

Cut romaine length wise  

Spray cut side with EVOO 

put on hot grill for 2 mins or until leaves are charred and stalk has good grill marks 

you can flip if you want not nessary I like a little crunch 

Sprinkle with sea salt 

Dressing  

mix all ingredient in blender until smooth  and creamy ..if you want thinner add water 1 tablespoon at a time . season with sea salt pepper

Assembly

Lay grilled romaine cut side up drizzle Caesar Tahini all over.

Sprinkle Cheese and pinoli nuts and a bit of chopped parsley enjoy !!
