Grilled Sesame Green Beans

I am obsessed with Grilled Beans!  I love the smokey flavor they get when they are grilled and still hold there snap factor. 

In this recipe I wanted to do something different so I  just drizzled a little sesame oil and add sesame seeds. So a basic Grilled Recipe now has an Asian Flare!

If you don;t have a grill pan,  you can use a cooling rack.

Cooking Time

5-7 minutes

Ingredients

1 pound of green beans trimmed and washed

2 tablespoons grape seed oil or evoo

1/2 cup cherry tomatos cut in half

1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil 

3 teaspoons sesame seed toasted 

 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 

Directions

Heat grill to meduim high with grill basket on grates.

In a large bowl toss green beans with grapeseed oil. Slide beans into basket and cook tossing occastionally until slightly charred and tender but still have a snap about 5-7 minutes. Remove toss them back into bowl with sesame oil, salt, and tomatoes. Sprinkle sesame seeds 

Notes

Toasted Sesame Seed 

In a dry saute' on medium /high heat add sesame seed. And toast until slighty golden and 2 minutes.
