za'atar

1 teaspoon  dried oregano

 1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 tablespoon sumac

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon taoated sesame seeds

1 tablespoon toasted fennel seeds

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

1/2 cup

Ingredients

Use a mortar  or a ( spice grinder) and pestle to grind the oregano and marjoram finely than add sumac,cumin, toasted sesame seeds, toasted fennel seeds, sea salt a pepper chrush it a couple more times. 

Put it in an airtight container it will last about 1-2 months.

Notes

Sometimes I add fresh rosemary or thyme I like the color and it adds a little freshness.
